Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • Asparagus, woody ends chopped off

  • EVOO

  • Bacon

  • S & P

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Soak toothpicks in water for 20 minutes.

  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and place a cooking rack on a baking sheet.

  3. In a bowl combine olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. Swirl around.

  4. Add the asparagus and make sure its well coated.

  5. Wrap a piece of bacon around a bundle of asparagus and secure with a tooth pick. Continue until all asparagus has been bundled.

  6. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.

The drippings from the bacon makes the tips of the asparagus all crispy and taste like bacon. Amazing!
