Dark Chocolate Peppermint Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C sugar

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 2 tbls butter

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 2/3 C Dark Chocolate Morsels

  • 1/2 C peppermint bits

  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Line a 8″ x 8″ pan with foil.

  2. Combine butter, sugar, sweetened condensed milk and salt in a pan on medium heat stirring constantly until it’s at a rolling boil. Keep stirring for 4 or 5 minutes and then remove from heat.

  3. Stir in chocolate chips, peppermint and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan.

  4. Sprinkle the top with peppermint pieces.

  5. Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.

  6. Cut into pieces and serve.
