My good friend Jacky made this for a ladies brunch one day and I never forgot it so I thought I’d try one of my own. This isn’t good for you, it’s basically a doughnut cake but it’s DELICIOUS!
Ingredients:
4 cans Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
3/4 C white sugar
3/4 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C butter or margarine, melted
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease or spray a 12 C Bundt pan.
Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a 1 gallon bag.
Pop the cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
Shake quarters in bag to coat.
Place all the pieces in the prepared pan.
Mix butter and bring sugar and pour over biscuit pieces.
Bake for 40 to 45 mins or until golden brown.
Cool 5 mins and turn upside down onto a plate.
Serve warm.
This is the same recipe as the one on the back of the Pillsbury biscuit can. It’s tried and true, don’t mess with it.
