This pie is so delicious you won’t even care that it’s vegan, and unless you tell, nobody else will even know. My good friend Kirsten Chandler passed this one down to me. Please make it, eat it and share it with people you love.
Every time I make this dessert people always ask for the recipe. It's so easy and so delicious.
Ingredients:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 12 oz. container firm silken (soft) tofu
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 9 inch graham cracker crust
1/2 cup chopped chocolate covered pretzels
Directions:
Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 30 sec.
Stir chocolate and heat for another 30 sec. Repeat heating and stirring until chocolate is fully melted and set it aside.
Combine tofu and maple syrup in a food processor, blend until smooth.
Add peanut butter, blend until smooth.
Add melted chocolate, blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into pie crust, smooth the top.
Put it in the fridge for 20 mins to set.
Sprinkle pretzels on top and serve.
